The following outlines typical arrangements for the Destination Wedding for parties of 10 – 60 Guests. Use this as a budget guide for planning your Big Day with us. If it is not here….just ask!

Birth Certificates can NOT be Notarized. (2 originals must be ordered if traveling on a birth certificate)
Jamaica Wedding Expert Review of Documents, photocopying originals, shipping and tracking
Includes International phone charges for follow-up with arrangements.

Brides are welcome to handle their own wedding arrangements with Coyaba, but we suggest our involvement as
we handle over 200 destination weddings per year. We only use real Fedex for docs ($40 Included).

The Caribbean Tour & Cruise Wedding Fee is waived
once 10 rooms are confirmed


Required Documentation
Notarized copies of Bride and Groom’s Birth Certificates
Notarized copies of divorce or death decrees if applicable
Occupation of both Candidates.
Occupation of both sets of Parents.
Date and time of Wedding.


Restrictions
Candidates must be in Jamaica for a minimum of 24 hours.
Candidates must be Guests at Coyaba for at least 3 night stay.
Documents must be received at least one month prior to Wedding Date. A late fee of $90 is charged for documents arriving after that this period.
A cancellation fee of $100 is charged if the ceremony is cancelled, for any reason, less than two weeks prior to the planned Wedding Date.
Coyaba will only book one wedding per day. A $1000 USD non-refundable deposit is required to block the desired wedding date. This deposit can be applied to any aspect of the future booking (rooms, food and beverage, etc.).


Group Wedding Requirements
Group Wedding Parties must stay a minimum of 3 nights
At least 50% of persons attending the Wedding must be Guests of Coyaba. For example, if there are 40 Guests attending the Wedding, at least 20 Guests must be staying at Coyaba.
All Guests of the Wedding Group must be booked on the same meal plan. The Bridal couple may be assessed a penalty if Guests choose not to comply.
If Guests are on the All-Inclusive Meal Plan, a set-up charge of $15 pp will be charged in lieu of food and beverage charges. This charge will cover the private location and private staffing.
Coyaba does not charge a Wedding Coordination fee however, detailed wedding planning will not commence until a deposit is made and at least 50% of planned rooms are booked.


Group Prices with Air & Hotel
Group Wedding Parties must purchase a minimum of eight rooms for these prices to be effective

Wedding Ceremony Three locations available:
Vineyard Restaurant – Covered, partial indoor/outdoor. For intimate elegant settings.

Docks Restaurant/Sundeck – Outdoor, located directly adjacent to sea. For tropical, casual setting. Best for large groups.

Gazebo Deck – Outdoor, can be covered with tent if necessary. Located in close proximity to Wedding Lawn. For small, private settings.

Most popular location is the Wedding Lawn which has beachside Trellis; sea and beach are backdrop, Guests are seated on lawn.
Trellis decorated with sheer white curtains and plants. Additional flowers can be arranged via florist. Most popular are flowers for trellis, floral arrangements for "altar" and flowers down "aisle"
Seating provided for Guests if necessary and at no additional charge. Chairs are white slip-covered and are arranged facing the sea/beach and trellis on either side of "aisle"
Wedding service is non-denominational. The text of the service can be provided upon request.
Most popular choice for music is Calypso Trio (included in package) or Disc Jockey who plays music pre-selected by the Bride. Please see accompanying Entertainment Rate Sheet for additional alternatives.


Cocktail Party (optional)
A popular choice for immediately after ceremony and before dinner. Takes place on Wedding Lawn while photographs are being taken. Good way to keep Guests entertained until dinner.
Four Selections of Passed Hors D’oeuvres
Rum Punch & Fruit Punch with Paper Umbrella and fruit garnish
Red Stripe, Red and White House Wine, Bottled Water
Suggested Entertainment: Calypso Band ($75), Steel Band ($225)
One Hour duration, $15 pp
This Can be added to the price of your guests vacation package at your request.


Wedding Reception – Table Settings
Reception tables typically round.
Tables can seat 4, 6 or 8.
Traditional Wedding Tablecloths are white cloth to floor with sheer white/pale green topper. Can be paired with pale green napkins or white napkins.
Alternate Tablecloths are white cloth to floor with bright tropical topper. Can be paired with napkins in red, blue or yellow.
Basic candlelight is provided at no charge. Specialty lighting can be furnished via florist for additional charge.
Floral centrepieces are additional and are available via florist. Prices start at $40 per arrangement.
Wedding favours are not included but can be arranged for a fee.


Wedding Reception - Meal
If Guests on All Inclusive Meal Plan...
Reception charge is only $15 pp for set-up
This Can be added to the price of your guests vacation package at your request.

If Guests are not on meal plan, ala carte meal and bar charges apply.
Typical Plated Meal Charges are $45 - $55 per person
Typical Buffet Meal Charges are $45 - $50 per person
Printed Coyaba menus (on white cardstock) are provided at no additional charge. Menus can be printed with special icon/clipart provided it is forwarded at least 2 weeks prior in .jpg format. Specific font colors can also be specified at that time.
Specialty Menus can also be arranged for a fee; typically $2 - $3 per menu.


Wedding Reception - Bar
If Guests on All Inclusive Meal Plan, the set-up charge of
$15 pp for the meal above will also cover bar costs.

Full Open Bar (premium brands & all blender drinks), 3 hours - $32 pp, 4 hours - $42 pp
Limited Bar (call brands, no blender drinks), 3 hours - $26 pp, 4 hours - $34 pp


Wedding Reception - Entertainment
A full range of entertainment options are available, please see accompanying rate sheet for details.
Most popular choice is Disc Jockey ($110 per hour, minimum 3 hours) based on variety of music available. Many Brides bring own CDs with favourites to be played throughout evening in addition to selections for First Dance, Parents’ Dance, etc.


Wedding Cake
Two Tiered Cake is part of package; adequate for approx 20 guests.
Additional layers are $100.
Icing is white buttercream. Fondant icing is additional and not recommended as it does not hold up well under extremely humid conditions.
Most popular cake flavour is vanilla with raspberry filling, however other suggestions are available on request.
Coyaba recommends Brides purchase a floral cake top ($15) in lieu of the alternate (plastic) bride and groom. Brides can also provide their own pre-purchased cake tops from "home" and bring along on their trip.
Custom Cakes with intricate design requirements are available but would be contracted with Pastry Chef outside of Coyaba and will require separate quotation based on picture supplied.
Grooms’ Cakes are also available upon request for a fee.


Champagne
One bottle of house sparkling wine is included in the Wedding Package however many Brides choose to purchase additional bottles for their Guests.
Sparkling Wine available for $35 (House) and $45 (Premium).
Champagne available at $65 and $95 per bottle.
Brides should assume 6 glasses per bottle
Add $5 per bottle for fresh raspberry or strawberry per glass (if seasonally available)
